Join us in congratulating Vicki Carter who was recently approved by the Bryant School Board to serve as Assistant Principal at Collegeville Elementary. Former CES assistant principal, Lindsey McBride, will be joining the Bryant Elementary leadership team.
Mrs. Carter is a Saline County native. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from UALR. Beginning her career in 2000, Mrs. Carter taught in the Pulaski County Special School District for nine years. In 2009, Mrs. Carter moved back home to Saline County as a Bryant resident, and officially became a Hornet with the Bryant School District. She taught at Hurricane Creek Elementary and Parkway Elementary, and has 21 years of experience across multiple grade levels. Mrs. Carter recently graduated from ASU with her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.
She is married to Nathan and they have three daughters. Hannah, an aspiring teacher, is excited to begin her last semester at UALR. Madelyn just graduated high school and is embarking on her college journey this fall. Both are proud Bryant Hornet Alumni. Amanda is the youngest daughter and will be finishing up elementary school this year at Parkway.
Mrs. Carter enjoys spending time on Lake Ouachita with her family, and cheering on the Hornets. She is excited about joining the Collegeville Elementary team as the new Assistant Principal.

The summer slide is a decline in reading ability and other academic skills that can occur over the summer months when school is not in session. To help students and families, Bryant Schools is providing resources to keep those skills sharp.
