TRANSPORTATION NOTICE: Boone Road has been closed due to flooding. Buses will be using alternate flood routes which may impact the time students are picked up today (Wednesday, January 24). This will affect students in the Hurricane Lake Apartment Complex, Heritage Farms, Valley Forge, Cedar Ridge, Falcon Way, and other subdivisions along North Shore Drive (Routes 9, 19, 36, 69 & 70).
Students should be at their bus stops at the normal time; however, students may be picked up later than normal due to buses taking alternate flood routes.

Due to a structural fire on McPherson Ridge, the fire department has closed access to McPhearson Road. Buses will not be able to pick up students on McPherson, impacting students assigned to Route 37.

For the safety of our students, staff and families, Bryant Schools will be closed today, Monday, January 22.

Bryant Schools will have a 2-hour delayed start on Monday, January 22. Buses will pick up students 2 hours later than normal; each school will begin two hours later than usual.
Should weather or road conditions change and school be cancelled for the day, we ask that families please continue to watch for messages and announcements.

We are carefully monitoring the winter weather forecasted overnight and Monday morning (January 22). Administrators will be out in the early hours to check road conditions. As always, our first priority will be keeping our students and staff safe.
Should we have to make a change to the school schedule, we will do our best to notify parents by 5:30am.

In preparation for the well below-normal temperatures next week, the great people of Saline County have come together to organize a COMMUNITY Warming Center!
Saline County Warming Center Quick Facts:
📍 Northside Church of Christ (917 N. East St. Benton, next to Saline Memorial Hospital)
⏰ Opens: Sunday, Jan. 14 at 5pm (opening depending on current weather conditions)
📱To volunteer, call (501) 528-9668 or email salinewarmingcenter@gmail.com.

With winter weather in the forecast, now is a good time to review our inclement weather procedures. In the event that the school district has to cancel school due to inclement weather, we will have a traditional snow day.
The district is utilizing an alternative calendar with additional instructional hours scheduled above what is required by the state. As long as the district does not close for more than five days, days will not have to be added to the end of the school year.
IF it should be necessary to close school, parents will be notified by all District communication channels such as phone call, text, email, website, mobile app and social media as well as news outlets.

Please consider donating your gently-used suits and formal dresses to the BHS prom closet! Donations can be dropped off to the BHS front office during school hours. #opp4success #BryantProud

Bryant Public Schools does not plan to close today. The temperature is above freezing with rain expected by noon. Enjoy this beautiful snowfall! ❄️🌨️
