After reviewing the most up to date forecast from the National Weather Service and looking at the forecast for severe weather, Bryant Public Schools will dismiss school early on Wednesday, April 2. We will follow the same early dismissal schedule used for parent-teacher conferences. All after school student activities and practices are canceled. Visit bryantschools.org for more details.
Our district spans 350 square miles, and some bus routes lack safe shelter options in extreme weather. Administrators have carefully considered these factors, and out of an abundance of caution, early dismissal will help ensure that students arrive home safely and that bus drivers can return should conditions worsen.
In the event that severe weather arrives earlier than the prediction of the recent forecast, students and staff will shelter in place until it is deemed safe to dismiss them. Student and staff safety will always come first.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we make safety the top priority for students and staff in making these difficult decisions.

During the month of April, Bryant Schools is participating in the 2025 THV11 Summer Cereal Drive to benefit the Arkansas Foodbank.
Donations will be accepted at any Bryant School. The following items will count toward each school’s total: cereal (17 oz. and larger), granola bars, cereal bars, instant oatmeal, and toaster pastries.
Items will be sent to local food pantries to feed hungry children and families in our community.

In honor of Gifted and Talented Awareness Week, Collegeville would like to acknowledge our GT Teacher, Mrs. Grist. She is a shining example of what it means to inspire excellence! Her dedication to our gifted and talented students ensures they have the resources, encouragement, and opportunities to explore beyond the ordinary. Whether she’s sparking new ideas, guiding students through challenging concepts, or simply being their biggest cheerleader, her impact is immeasurable.
Thank you, Mrs. Grist, for making learning an adventure and for helping our students shine! ✨

Join us in honoring our brave military families and their incredible children this April as we celebrate Month of the Military Child at Bryant Schools!
On Friday, April 11, wear purple to demonstrate the deep respect and gratitude for the resilience and sacrifices of military families. Let's send a powerful message of appreciation to those who serve and protect our freedom.

Families, we want to say thank you for taking time to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences this week. Your involvement and support make such a big difference in your child's journey with us. It's always such a pleasure for our staff to get the chance to make positive connections with you and to just simply see your faces in our building! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to educate your children, and for partnering with us in their learning! 😻
We would also like to say thank you to First Service Bank for providing dinner to our teachers this evening! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

GT students had a great time at the MacArthur Military Museum in Little Rock today!😻
Mrs. Grist was pleased that students were able to answer questions from the staff about D-Day, internment camps, the Axis Powers, propaganda posters, the role of women in the military, and the Tuskegee Airmen.
And a very special thank you to Mr. Dumas, who not only volunteered to chaperone, but was also selected from the group to dress as a Paratrooper, so our Wildcats could see just how much gear was worn by these soldiers!

Collegeville is so excited to announce that Miss Warner has been named Paraprofessional of the year! She was nominated by teachers and staff because of her consistency in going above and beyond to make sure our students are provided with the support they need to be successful. We are so very proud to have her here with us and appreciate the positive impact she makes on our school each and every day! Congratulations, Miss Warner!

Collegeville Elementary competed in the State Archery Tournament and placed 20th out of 30 teams, with only three returning kids from last year. The team went from scoring 16 bullseyes at the beginning of the season to 31 at the state tournament. They improved their overall team score by over 400 points and had 12 students set a new personal best score for themselves.
We are so proud of the Bullseye Bosses and Coach Solomon for all of the hard work and effort they have put in this year and for representing our school so well! Way to go Wildcats! 😻

Our team has been assessing road conditions this afternoon. While most roads in the district are clear, others remain hazardous. For the safety of our students and staff, Bryant Schools will be closed on Friday, February 21.
This is the final inclement weather day built into our approved 2024-25 calendar. We hope no additional weather-related closures are needed. However, if more days are missed, they will be added to the end of the school year.
