25 high school students participated in the first annual Ouachita Sports Digital Network High School Sports Media Conference on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University on Wednesday, November 9th.
Students attended sessions featuring local and regional professionals in sports media and journalism such as the Arkansas Democrat Gazette’s Rex Nelson, 103.7 The Buzz’s Justin Acri and Wess Moore, with a keynote address by David Bazzel himself.
Between sessions, students found time to take a tour of the OBU campus to see the rich, stimulating environment that created this great new conference.
Big thanks to Chris Babb, the Ouachita Sports Digital Network, and Ouachita Baptist for such an amazing opportunity to explore careers in communications!
