In June, the Bryant Buzz Episode 4 from the 2021-2022 school year earned the distinction of Best Newscast in the region by the Mid-America Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The show is now one of five Student Production Award Nominees for Best Newscast in the NATION. The Hornet Media program will receive its Regional Emmy Award in St. Louis on October 29 with the announcement of the national winner happening through a virtual presentation on November 17.  A total of 25 students worked on The Bryant Buzz throughout the school year. Producers of the show included Arielle Kirkley, Kylie Evans, Liam Babbit, Eli Hill, and Carsyn Hobson. The program is led by instructor Michael Westbrook. Congratulations, Hornets!

The Bryant School District will present the Annual Report to the Public during a special board meeting on Monday, October 3 at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the Professional Development Center, located on the Bryant High School Campus, Building 18 (next to the baseball field). Our Annual Report to the Public, presented in video format, updates patrons on the progress made during the 2021-22 school year and highlights student and staff achievements. Along with academic progress, the report provides information on district finances, student enrollment and demographics, teacher quality, and high school scores. Parents and other members of the community are invited. If you are not able to attend, the Annual Report video and document will be shared following the meeting.
