Bryant Public Schools is partnering with Arkansas Foodbank to offer food boxes to low-income families with children in the district. Families must have at least one child approved for Free & Reduced meals. Register at https://bit.ly/FoodBox2023.

BHS Choir alumni are on the trip of a lifetime … to London! Led by Tanner Oglesby, Director of Choirs at Bryant, eight vocalists will be singing at Cadogan Hall in London on Friday.
The group is rehearsing and premiering a new work written for the group by Paul Mealor, the Royal family’s court composer. Mr Mealor composed/arranged all of the music for King Charles’ Coronation and the recent royal weddings.

First Electric has selected three BHS students to represent the co-op on the 2023 Youth Tour, an educational trip to Washington, D.C. Incoming seniors Kayleigh Baker, Morgan Manning and Andrew Schroeder will learn about electrical cooperatives; tour historic sites, monuments and museums; and met members of the Arkansas congressional delegation.

The National Federation of Press Women has awarded Hornet Media first place in the *NATION* for Best Newscast. Executive Producers are Carsyn Hobson and Nevaeh Robinson.
Chelsea Jensen and Hobson also received third place in the nation in the news story category for their report on the Financial Reality Fair that took place at Bryant High School in November.

Congratulations to our Bryant Lady Hornets for earning their spot at the 6A State Softball Championship! The game between Bryant and Cabot will air on Arkansas PBS at 4 pm on Thursday, May 18.



The Lady Hornets Softball team will play for the 6A State Championship on Thursday, May 18 at 4pm. It’s the first time the program has been to a state final since winning the title in 2012. The championship game against Cabot will be held at the University of Central Arkansas Farris Field.
Let’s support our Lady Hornets in their championship bid by wearing Hornet gear or Bryant Blue on Thursday. We also invite fans to join us in lining Reynolds Road for the team's send off on Thursday morning at 11:15am.

‼️ Hornet Media Earns Four Emmy Awards ‼️
In only the second year of the TV Production program, BHS Hornet Media students have earned four Regional Student Emmys from The National Academy of Television Mid-America Chapter. The chapter consists of five states that include Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, and Missouri. The Hornet Media team earned more awards than any other school in the region.
Just two weeks after being named the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association Journalist of the Year, Sophomore Chelsea Jensen was named the Mid-America Region On-Air Talent of the Year. Jensen also won a Student Emmy for General Assignment Serious News. In February, Jensen covered the story of English teacher Nathan Bradow preparing for his lung transplant.
Jensen and Junior Carsyn Hobson also earned the top honor for General Assignment Light News. The two spent the month of January documenting a Bryant High School internship student who is working on her pilot's license.
Junior Nick Gibbs received the Student Emmy for Sports Live Event. Gibbs was the producer and technical director of the Hornet Media football and basketball live broadcasts this past season.
