We are #BryantProud of the two BHS robotics teams who competed in the state robotics tournament this weekend! One of those teams, 5691x, partnered with a team from Fayetteville to win the Arkansas State Robotics Championship!
The 5691x team members are Alexis Pablo, Marc Jenkins, Zachary Kennedy, Zaylie Mejia, and Daniel Reyes. The 5691Y team members are Josh Maxwell, Banks Page, Katherine Wetenberger, and JC Lecompt.

The Journalism Education Association, the nation’s largest scholastic journalism organization in the country, announced Nevaeh Suit is the 2024 Arkansas Student Journalist of the Year. #BryantProud
Nevaeh has been a member of the Bryant broadcast program throughout high school and serves as producer, reporter, and anchor. To compete, she had to build a website portfolio showcasing her work over her time on the Bryant High School Broadcast team. Some of the categories of Nevaeh's portfolio included a personal narrative, reporting and writing, web and social media content, design, broadcast, and law and ethics.

Bryant Mayor Rhonda Sanders issued a proclamation acknowledging February 11-16 as national FBLA Week in the City of Bryant. Mayor Sanders presented the proclamation to FBLA President Maricka Farr stating, “Strong business leaders are the future of our community.”
The group attended Future Friday at Arkansas Tech, a day for FBLA members to learn important life skills necessary for life after high school. They also had the opportunity to practice for their state competitions. Cheryl Harrell serves as the FBLA adviser. #FBLAWeek24

TRANSPORTATION NOTICE 2/14/24: Due to an emergency closure at Shobe Road over the next several days, buses will be taking alternate routes. This may cause a slight delay in the time students are picked up in the mornings and arrive home in the afternoons.

BHS Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, February 15! To accommodate all of our Hornet families, we will offer virtual conferences from 2:00-5:00 PM and in-person conferences from 5:15-7:30 PM. Please see the flyer for more details.
REMINDER: All students will be dismissed early next Thursday, February 15, for Secondary (6-12th grade) Parent Teacher Conferences. Elementary conferences are scheduled for March 14.
