October is #NationalPrincipalsMonth. All month long, we’re celebrating our amazing principals at each of our schools.
Hill Farm Elementary’s leader, Leslie Penfield, has been the school’s principal for two years. Mrs. Penfield loves kids! “Arriving at school each day, I never know what a student might say or do, but I do know that they are going to make me smile. I am honored knowing that I might make a difference in a child's life,” she says.
FUN FACT:
Mrs. Penfield has zip lined over the second largest canyon in the USA, the Palo Duro Canyon, located near Amarillo, TX.
Thank you, Mrs. Penfield, for creating opportunities for success at Hill Farm! #BryantProud #ThankAPrincipal

Bryant’s very own ESOL Coordinator, Dawn Shinn, was awarded the 2021 ESOL Coordinator of the Year from ARKTESOL (Arkansas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). Mrs. Shinn serves and supports our English learners and their families. Congratulations on this well deserved honor! #BryantProud

Our last principal to highlight is Dr. Todd Edwards, leader for six years at the high school. “I love seeing the achievements of our students at Bryant High School. Our students are amazing,” he says.
FUN FACT:
Dr. Edwards has worked for three school districts in his 32 years in education. The school colors for all three districts are blue and white. He has a ton of blue shirts.
Thank you, Dr. Edwards for creating opportunities for success at Bryant High School! #BryantProud #ThankAPrincipal
