Bryant Public Schools is hosting an open house to mark the completion of the new Administration Office and Board Room on Thursday, November 16, 4-5:30pm. The community is invited to drop in to see the renovations and new spaces.
In March of 2023, the Central Office administration team moved to the former Big Red corporate offices located at 1511 N. Reynolds Road. The property was purchased from Summerwood Partners in 2021. The building was an ideal location with enough space to house Central Office personnel, the business office, and additional staff. The warehouse at the site was converted to a board meeting room and a training room. Existing square footage was also used for business office space.
The creation of a new Administration Office set in motion a series of facility updates. Rather than new construction, the district opted to repurpose several existing buildings:
The former Administration Office was remodeled and now serves as the location for the Hornet Health Clinic and Parent Center.
After business office personnel relocated to the new Administration office, a 30 x 30 area was added to the former business office to provide space for the Special Education team.
Building 600, the former location of the Special Education office, was repurposed as a Behavior Center for students in grades 6-12 to attend in-school and out-of-school suspension in a supervised environment.
Renovations for the Hornet Health Center, Parent Center and Special Education spaces were done by Bryant Maintenance Team members over the summer break. By remodeling existing buildings, the district has been able to allocate more money to the building fund for future classroom/learning spaces.
The new facilities will better serve the district as a whole. Bryant looks forward to welcoming the community to the latest improvements.
