Hello HCES Families,
I want to give a "Shout Out" to our Student Leadership Team and Ms. Dockery for their No Cell Phone in a School Zone Campaign last week. If you dropped off or picked up your student as a car rider, you were probably greeted by the smiling kiddos wearing the green t-shirts, holding signs and distributing bookmarks to remind all parents to "Bookmark Our Words: No Cell Phones in a School Zone."
Our mission statement is focused on keeping our students and staff safe. Thank you for joining us in sharing that mission.
Also, remember our school day begins at 7:45, and ends at 3:10. Please have your child to school on time everyday, unless you are sick or have an appointment. Teach your child the importance of attending school... Help them be an Attendance Hero!
There are many opportunities for your family to get connected with our school in the upcoming weeks. Take a look at this week's Patriot Press for Parents, and mark your calendars for these fun events at The Creek...
Make it a great day or not, the choice is yours!

ALL students will be dismissed early on Thursday, February 16 for secondary parent teacher conferences.

February 14 is a special day students look forward to celebrating. We love our Hornets, too, but deliveries interrupt the learning taking place in our classrooms. Bryant Schools do not accept deliveries at school on Valentine’s or any other special days.
Please share gifts with your children at home. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Bryant Pre-K registration is OPEN from February 13-24. Application packets available online or at the Pre-K building next to Bryant Elementary. Visit bryantschools.org/prek-registration for more information. #SuccessStartsHere

PARENTS OF 3RD-5TH GRADE STUDENTS
Should your child be evaluated for gifted services?
Students who require gifted education often think about topics in different ways from their peers and make connections their peers do not.
Students identified as gifted require services from a gifted certified teacher to support academic growth, social emotional needs, and provide enrichment and extensions beyond the grade level classroom. For additional information or to request a referral for your child, visit our website:

Today is the beginning of National School Counseling Week 2023, "Helping Students Dream Big". The week focuses on celebrating & highlighting our outstanding Bryant counselors. Thank you for creating safe and supportive environments for our students!

Hello HCES Families,
I know Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Groundhog Day last week, but I'm hopeful we don't have 6 more weeks of winter weather. I am excited to see 60 degree temperatures in this week's forecast. Our students are ready for some outside recess!
Our girls and their father figures sure had a wonderful night of dancing and laughing Saturday. We are grateful to Fellowship Bible Church for joining our PTO to put on this outstanding event.
Stay tuned for details about our Mother Son Event this spring!
Take a look at this week's Patriot Press Parent newsletter for all the upcoming events.
