Four Bryant Schools will receive a share of the approximately $7 million in reward money from the Arkansas School Recognition Program. Awards are based on the state required assessment information from the 2023-24 school year.
The Arkansas School Recognition Program was created to provide financial awards to public schools with high student performance, student academic growth, and for secondary schools, high graduation rate.
Based on student performance or academic growth, schools in the top 6%-10% receive rewards of up to $50 per student enrolled. The Bryant schools receiving these awards include:
Bryant Elementary School (Top 6-10% Performance in State) $29,077
Springhill Elementary (Top 6-10% Performance in State) $25,461
Hill Farm Elementary (Top 6-10% Growth in State) $26,746
Collegeville Elementary received financial awards in both categories:
Collegeville Elementary (Top 6-10% Performance in State) $24,176
Collegeville Elementary (Top 6-10% Growth in State) $24,176
“Congratulations to the incredible students, faculty, and staff whose dedication and hard work have driven these outstanding achievements in student performance and growth," said Superintendent Karen Walters. "We are especially thrilled to see Collegeville Elementary recognized on both lists. This accomplishment reflects the unwavering commitment across all our schools to implement innovative strategies that elevate student success."
Schools receiving recognition funds are required to establish a committee to determine how to use the funds. The committee will include the principal, a teacher and a parent representative.
