Bryant Middle School Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Sheila Hart! What our staff says about her: " Mrs. Hart goes above and beyond for all SPED students and really for ALL students. She always has a positive attitude. She helps new staff members with a smile. She represents the SPED department on the guiding coalition and has great communication with her team. She makes it her mission every day to be sure all our students are loved and fed. We are so lucky to have her in our BMS family." From Mrs. Hart: "I’m so honored & humbled to be nominated. Every day, I try to be a Bridge (my 2025 guiding word)—helping students connect to the support they need, building relationships between teachers, families, and the community, and making sure everyone feels valued and included. I’ve learned a great deal in 25+ years in this field & continue to learn something new every day which I love to share. I love mentoring new SPED teachers, being available & supporting our current teachers & other staff, collaborating in PLCs, and working on district initiatives. Whether it’s helping students with academics, making sure no one goes hungry, making every child and staff member feel valued & loved, or keeping the memory of our past faculty alive through the “Bryant Hornet Faculty~Always in Our Hearts” FB tribute page, my goal is always to lift others up and make a difference. Our team has been assessing road conditions this afternoon. While most roads in the district are clear, others remain hazardous. For the safety of our students and staff, Bryant Schools will be closed on Friday, February 21. This is the final inclement weather day built into our approved 2024-25 calendar. We hope no additional weather-related closures are needed. However, if more days are missed, they will be added to the end of the school year.

Bryant Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 20.

We have been closely monitoring the weather and its potential impact on our area. Based on current weather forecasts, Bryant Schools will DISMISS EARLY at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 18. Activities and athletic events are canceled. If inclement weather moves in earlier than expected, we will dismiss earlier. Please ensure we have your correct contact information as this is how we will communicate any possible changes. Watch for updates through our usual communication channels.

FBLA is selling Candy Grams for Valentine's Day. We would like to open this up to parents and grandparents who might want to purchase a Candy Gram for their child/grandchild. The ladies in the front office have been so kind to agree to sell Candy Grams to parents and grandparents interested in purchasing them for BMS students. The parents/grandparents just need to bring their money ($1.00 per Candy Gram) to the BMS front office and the office will have the Candy Grams for them to sign.
