Is your BMS 7th grader interested in participating in Cross Country for the 2020-21 school year?
Cross Country, a fall semester sport for both male and female athletes, is a long distance run of two miles. Athletes run on grass in parks and golf courses. Students will focus on form and endurance, along with some training strategies.
If your student would like to try out, email Coach Deanna Porter at dporter@bryantschools.org.
The following items should also be completed prior to tryouts:
First, each student needs a current physical. If he/she had a physical done last school year in anticipation of try-outs, he/she is good to go. If he/she did not receive one, a physical must be completed by a health care provider using on our school form. Student athletes will not be allowed to work out without a physical.
Second, a parent must sign and turn in a COVID waiver form.
Third, parents must complete a physical health history form.
The last day to sign up for Cross Country will be Monday Aug. 10.
