Remote Learning Day
Mayor Allen Scott has declared February 12, 2021, as “Bryant Hornet Day” to honor the accomplishments of the Hornet coaches, staff, and players in winning three consecutive 7A State Football Championships. The day, 2-12, was chosen for the mantra of the Hornets, #Be212. The 212 vision signifies the effort and work ethic it takes to be the best at what you do, a message we can all embrace. Join us in showing your Hornet Pride by wearing Bryant Blue and/or Hornet fan gear on Friday, February 12. Take a photo and post on your social media accounts, using #Be212, #HornetPride, or #BryantHornetDay. Be sure to tag us in your post! We also encourage you to email photos to info@bryantschools.org. Watch for your photo to appear on our district social media channels. Catch Mayor Scott's proclamation here: youtu.be/IWPV_9wsDps

Bryant Schools do not accept deliveries at school on Valentine’s or any other special days. We love our Hornets, too, but deliveries interrupt the learning taking place in our classrooms. Please share gifts with your children at home. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Due to a system upgrade over the break, there is a new Home Access Center (HAC) link. HAC allows students and parents the ability to see schedules, assignments, grades, and attendance. The link has been updated on the district website and on the app. You may also access HAC at hac20.esp.k12.ar.us. HAC passwords have been encrypted. Families now have the ability to access their own password retrieval when they can't remember their passwords.

We are beyond thankful for #CommUnity partner, Big Red, who donated 10 cases of bottled water to BJHS. Nurses Jamie Gaston and Miranda Jackson often provide water to students who forget their water bottles or need to rehydrate. The health room is now fully stocked!

The district Point of Contact phone line (501-414-6647) will resume normal hours this week. Parents may reach the POC by email any time at bryantpointofcontact@bryantschools.org. Our POC will respond as soon as possible to all email messages. Parents, please contact the POC to report a positive COVID-19 case with your student or within your family. Call or email if your child has been identified as a close contact with a positive case outside of school (church, family members, gyms, etc.). It is important that if a parent tests positive, the children who live in the home with them are quarantined. We continue to rely on cooperation from families in reporting positive cases and identifying close contacts. The better we are with our prevention strategies, the longer we will be able to keep schools open and have children attend school in-person. Thank you all for your diligence in keeping our Hornets healthy!

Parents may also email bryantpointofcontact@bryantschools.org if the phone line is busy or unavailable.
