An annual Salt Bowl tradition, the Benton and Bryant communities come together to collect peanut butter, a staple in the Food for Kids program, which distributes food to hungry children in Saline County. The peanut butter donations are also provided to local food pantries.

Now through September 30 students can bring peanut butter to their schools. The community can visit any Everett Dealership or McFarland Eye Clinic in Saline County to donate. Our goal this year is 25,000 jars of peanut butter. The friendly competition will end with a trophy presentation to the winning school and district.
