Thea Foundation - The Creative Collective
Bryant High School art teachers Brianna Peterson, Amber Cardinale, and Katherine Purcell applied to the Thea Foundations program, Arts Reconstruction. The program provides professional development opportunities for art teachers across the state to enhance their personal knowledge of various art techniques and methods. The information is integrated into the classroom for students to gain from their experiences.
The Arts Reconstruction program is designed to connect Arkansas high school art teachers with unique professional development experiences and support their creative efforts in the classroom with vital capital investments.
The Creative Collective exhibit will highlight how both teachers and their students responded to those unique professional development experiences. The opening reception will take place on April 6th from 5:00pm - 7:00 pm in the Thea Gallery located in North Little Rock, AR. The exhibition will be on display from April 6-May 26, 2023.
The following Bryant High School students have been selected to exhibit their work: Paley Honeysuckle, Fisher Cunningham, Jacia Gilbert, Delayni Carroll, Daijea Wallace, Anna Rogers, Cynthia Murphy, Stephanie Ramirez, Wedge Wadley, Emeril Jones, Jessika Shelton, Gabbi Webb, Erin Taylor, and Emory Givens.
Thank you to Windgate Foundation for years of endowing this important program to fill a critical need for educators in central Arkansas.
