Mark Scarlett believes “If you find a job you love, you will never work a day in your life.” Mr. Scarlett has six years as principal of Bryant Elementary and 29 total in education. Building relationships with students, parents and staff is a priority for him. He also enjoys watching his students grow up from year to year.

Dr. Todd Edwards has led the district’s largest school, Bryant High School, for the past five years. He brings 31 years of education experience to his team. Dr. Edwards believes the best thing about being a principal is having a front row seat to all the great things our students at BHS accomplish. His leadership provides these opportunities for success.
While we encouraged families to apply by October 15 to receive additional funding for the district, Free and Reduced meal applications are accepted all year. Families may apply at any time to receive additional benefits offered with meal status. Apply online at bit.ly/MealAccounts or pick up an application at any school.

Jacqueline Vergason may be a first year principal at Hurricane Creek Elementary, but she is a 27 year veteran in the education field. One of her strengths is her ability to build relationships with students, parents and staff. Mrs. Vergason says being a principal gives her the opportunity to encourage and love people on a broader spectrum.
Bryant Public Schools is experiencing issues with phones and internet. At this time we are not able to receive phone calls or emails. The Technology Department is working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
BHS and BJHS students riding Bus 18 will now be assigned to Bus 52 for the morning and afternoon routes. Bus 52 will begin picking up students 20-25 minutes LATER than normal in the mornings at the same designated bus stops. The change will not affect the afternoon route.
Tonight’s celebration marks the 70th anniversary of Homecoming for a very special Hornet couple, Johnny and Sissy Farchman. Johnny played on the first BHS football team; Sissy was the second Homecoming queen. Congratulations! 👑 🏈

Dondre Harris has been principal of Davis Elementary for three years. He enjoys getting to know the students and parents. “We {principals} get to make an impact in the lives of children every day. Who wouldn’t want to do that?!” Mr. Harris has 15 years in the education field.

Eight young ladies will represent Bryant High School tonight as maids on the 2020 Homecoming Court. Festivities begin at 6:25pm at Hornet Stadium. The Bryant Homecoming queen will be crowned prior to kickoff at 7pm. Tonight's live stream will include the Homecoming activities.
