During May 2024, students at Bryant High School took Advanced Placement exams which tested the content knowledge and skills gained in each of their AP courses. Each qualifying score of 3, 4, or 5 equates to earned college credit, tuition savings, and proof of a studentās ability to handle college-level coursework.
College Board announced the 2024 AP Scholar recipients for Bryant High School based on performance on the May 2024 AP exams. A total of 216 students earned AP Scholars and Capstone certificates and diplomas. (Totals include those students from the Class of 2024, whose names are not listed below.)
A total of 55 BHS students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction awards--the highest award given. To receive this recognition, a student must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Thirty-four BHS students were awarded AP Scholar with Honors awards for receiving an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken during their high school careers, as well as scoring 3 or higher on at least four exams.
A total of 123 students received AP Scholar status, which is awarded to students who received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
The AP Capstone Diploma is earned by completing both AP Seminar, AP Research courses and at least three other AP exams with a score of 3 or better. Eleven students were awarded the AP Capstone Diploma.
