At Bryant Schools, our students are encouraged to pursue their interests, and every Hornet is given opportunities to succeed in the areas they choose. Our K-6 teachers actively make room for extra-curricular interests and talents in their classroom communities. What’s important to our students is important to us; which is why at Davis Elementary, you may hear poetry coming from the 4th grade hallway.
Fourth grader Kali Ray is an up-and-coming poet extraordinaire! She spends her free time writing poetry. Then, when she’s ready, she brings it to class to share with her teacher and classmates. Sharing new ideas or creations can be scary, but Kali sets aside her nerves for a bigger goal. She hopes that her poetry will bring some encouragement and inspiration to others.
Thank you to Kali’s teacher, Mrs. Titiana Brown, and to Davis Elementary for encouraging creativity and allowing opportunities for students to grow and thrive. And thank you to Kali for BOLDLY and BRAVELY sharing your poetry and for being a positive impact on this school.
Bryant continues to be a community that encourages creativity, excellence, and innovation. We’re #BryantProud of all the staff and students working together to make our district exceptional.
