MEET THE PRINCIPAL
Bryant Schools is excited to announce the selection of Michele Lewis as the principal of its newest school, Parkway Elementary. She will assume her new duties on July 1.
Ms. Lewis is the current principal at Davis Elementary, where she has served for the past five years. Her career at Bryant includes time as assistant principal at both Salem and Collegeville Elementary, and as a counselor at Davis. She joined the district in 2007.
Lewis is a member of many professional organizations including the National and Arkansas Association of Elementary School Principals and the Arkansas and American Counselor Associations. She earned her BSE in Elementary Education and MSE in Counselor Education from Arkansas State and is a graduate in Educational Leadership from Harding.
Eager to open the new school, Ms. Lewis looks forward to working with families, students, and teachers to build on Bryant’s dedication to creating opportunities for academic and personal success.
MEET THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Bryant Schools is pleased to announce the selection of Kameron Ervin as the new assistant principal at Parkway Elementary. Ms. Ervin joins principal Michele Lewis to complete the PES administrative team beginning July 1.
Ms. Ervin is a Little Rock native. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and her Masters degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Beginning her career in 2002, Ms. Ervin taught within the Springdale and Bentonville School Districts for twelve years.
During those years, she earned educational leadership credentials from Harding University in Searcy. In 2014, Ms. Ervin moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she served students in the Rock Hill School District in South Carolina.
Upon her return to Little Rock in 2016, Ms. Ervin joined Bryant Schools as a Building Learning Specialist for Bryant Elementary and Robert L. Davis Elementary.
Ms. Ervin enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with loved ones. She is excited to be part of the Parkway Elementary team and looks forward to serving its students and families.
