Career and Academic Planning Guide

Counselors are visiting classrooms (grades 5-11) to help students plan their schedules for the next school year. Itโ€™s a process we call CAPs (Career & Academic Planning).

At Bryant Schools, we know parents play a critical role in their studentโ€™s education. We are excited to offer our secondary parents an updated resource, the Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Guide. The CAP Guide is a roadmap from sixth grade to graduation designed to prepare your student for college and career. Fifth grade students will receive a printed CAP Guide.

Each grade level has specific information and resources. Find course requirements and parent tips to help your student each step of their journey. In the center of the CAP guide is the Roadmap to Success, which provides tips as your student travels toward graduation.

We encourage you to review the tools and spend time with your student talking about his or her academic and career goals. Together, weโ€™ll work toward our destination โ€ฆ graduation and future success.

We understand this is a big step for our 5th grade students and parents, so we wanted to make these videos to help you through this process.
