Board Members Honored
January is Arkansas School Board Appreciation Month. Bryant School Board members generously volunteer their time and efforts to ensure the success of our over 9,400 students. We're thankful, this month and every month, for what these seven individuals do on behalf of our students, staff, parents and community.
Hill Farm Elementary hosted this year’s celebration. The board received t-shirts celebrating "Life on the Farm" and many cards from Hill Farm students, plus gifts from Bryant Elementary including water bottles, candy, fingerprint magnets and personalized journals.
As another special gift, Hill Farm artists created portraits for each board member:
Airrianna Willingham created the portrait of Mrs. Kim Billingley, who has served on the board since 2018.
Seth Stewart created the portrait of Dr. Tyler Nelson, who has served on the board since 2018.
Joel Saavedra created the portrait of Mr. Craig Leone, who has served on the board since 2020.
Ashleigh Adell created the portrait of Mr. Ben Lewellen, who has served on the board since 2016.
Addison Thompson (not pictured) created the portrait of Mrs. Patrice Muldrow, who has served on the board since 2020. Student Jaidynn Cross presented the gift.
Katie Epperson created the portrait of Dr. Scott Walsh, who has served on the board since 2015.
Jaidynn Cross created the portrait of Mrs. Sandra Porter (not pictured), the longest tenured board member, who has served since 2006. Superintendent Karen Walters accepted the portrait on behalf of Mrs. Porter.
