Salt Bowl 2019 will mark the 45th year that Bryant and Benton have played one another in what has become the state’s highest attended high school game. The game will be played on Friday night, August 30, 7:30pm at War Memorial Stadium. Bryant is this year’s visitor team; Hornet fans will sit on the east side of War Memorial.
New security procedures at War Memorial Stadium include a clear bag policy. Each fan will go through a metal detector. Check out the list of permitted and prohibited items.
Tickets and t-shirts are available at all Big Red Stores in Saline County. Tickets are $12 each and include a Salt Bowl t-shirt. Fans also receive a coupon for a free queso from Chuy’s.
Buy your tickets and t-shirts early. Tickets are available at the gate on the day of the game for $15 (does not include the t-shirt). Only AAA passes will be accepted.
Indoor Club Level tickets are $25 (includes a Salt Bowl T-shirt) and can be purchased at either the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce or the Benton Chamber of Commerce. Parking passes are $25.

Game week will kick-off with a press conference at the Benton Event Center at 11:30am on Tuesday, August 27. Hornet Coach Buck James, Panther Coach Brad Harris, and two players from each team will get fans excited about the upcoming game.
Pep rallies for both teams and communities will take place on the same date and time: Tuesday, August 27 at 6pm. Bryant will be at Everett Buick GMC and Benton will be at Everett Infiniti. Free hot dogs, drinks and Kona Ice will be served. Drones will be doing a flyover to determine which school has the largest crowd. Hornet fans, come out and show your school spirit!
Game day tailgating begins at 4pm on the east side of War Memorial Stadium. Saline County banks and credit unions will serve free Petit Jean hot dogs and drinks. Visit over 80 vendors including Midtowne Church’s Kids Zone of inflatables.
Gates to War Memorial will open at 5:30pm. Pre-game festivities begin at 7pm, with a flyover after the National Anthem. Recognition of the Future Hornets, Future Panthers, cheerleaders, and Community Service Awards announcements will follow.
The Honorary Captain conducting the coin toss is KATV Sports THV 11 anchor Craig O’Neill. Honorary co-captains are Coach Dwight Fite, Coach Paul Revis and Doug Graham.
At halftime, enjoy the cheer and dance squads as well as a joint performance from the Bryant and Benton bands.
