Bryant’s Gifted and Talented Department serves students who are identified as Gifted and Talented (GT) in order to provide services beyond the regular classroom. These students are identified as requiring GT services through an interaction of an above average intelligence, creativity, and task commitment as evidenced by a case study.
Bryant Public Schools provide identified K-2 students with whole group enrichment. In 3rd-5th grade, GT identified students are served in a GT resource room through a pull out program. GT identified students in grades 6 and above are served in Pre-AP, AP, and Concurrent Credit classes.
The district will soon be evaluating students in 2nd grade (and above) for GT placement in 2019-20. Students may be referred by a parent, guardian, teacher, or other individual. To refer a student, please complete the GT Evaluation Parent/Guardian Referral Form. Forms are also available at bryantschools.org/gt.
Referrals should be submitted by Friday, February 15 for placement in Fall 2019-20.
