Bryant Middle School and Bryant High School hosted a robotics camp featuring beginner and advanced robotics. The Beginner Robotics class built and programmed “Bumper Bots.” Students learned basic programming in ROBOTC to move the robots; they also learned to drive the bots.
Advanced Robotics participants programmed and activated every sensor available to VEX robotics. They added the sensors to a “Claw Bot” and programmed it to avoid obstacles in the arena. Students enjoyed driving the robot later in the week, which was programmed with their own remote control buttons.
