New Elementary Attendance Zones 2018-19
February 7, 2018

New Elementary Attendance Zones 2018-19

The Bryant School Board approved new elementary attendance zones at the March 13 meeting. The rezoning will go into effect for the 2018-19 school year. New zoning maps are available on the district website.

The change will balance enrollment and address overcrowding in existing schools, as well as establish an attendance zone for the district’s newest school, Parkway Elementary, opening in August 2018. The plan also addresses future growth in areas with new housing developments.

All parents will be mailed a letter notifying them of their student’s zone for 2018-19. Letters will also contain information regarding “Welcome Nights” at all of our elementary schools. Students and parents can visit their new schools and meet other students and staff.

With the new zones finalized, district administration will work on staffing and transportation for the upcoming school year.

Thank you for your support and patience through this process. We know change is difficult for all families and we want to make the transition as smooth as possible.

School Search

In the Bryant School District, students in grades K-8 are assigned to schools based on home address. Use the School Search tool to determine school zone.

Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, Bryant School District will have eight elementary schools serving students in grades K-5. The Pre-K program is housed at Bryant Elementary.

Students entering middle schools (6-8th grades) are zoned by home address. Those living north of Interstate 30 attend Bethel Middle School. Those living south of Interstate 30 attend Bryant Middle School.

All students in grades 9-12 attend Bryant High School.
