LITTLE ROCK – Nine different Bryant Lady Hornets contributed to the scoring in a 40-6 romp over the Mount St. Mary Academy Mounties in a freshman game at the McAuley Center Thursday night.
It was Bryant’s third consecutive win after opening the season with a 33-31 setback to Vilonia, one that got away. Continued
PEARCY — Three-point shooting had been a struggle for the Bryant Lady Hornets on Thursday night at the Lake Hamilton Classic. In 13 first-half attempts from distance, their lone make came from sophomore Parris Atkins late in the first quarter. Continued
The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bethel Middle School earned its first victory of the season on Tuesday night by outlasting the White Hall Lady Bulldogs, 19-16, at the Bethel gym.
Grace Cheak led the scoring for Blue with 7 points. Rachel Havens and Vivian Spradlin scored 6 each. Continued

A 21-4 first quarter put the Bryant Lady Hornets freshman team in the driver’s seat on Monday night and they kept the accelerator down the rest of the way in a 38-14 victory over the Lake Hamilton Lady Wolves freshmen at the Bryant Junior High gym. Continued

PEARCY — The Bryant Lady Hornets assignment to officially start the 2019-20 basketball season on Monday night was considerably different than the challenge presented by the E-STEM Lady Mets in their preseason benefit scrimmage last week. Continued
The four areas of Leader Development listed on the West Point Military Academy’s website are:

This time, the Bryant Lady Hornets freshman team maintained the kind of dominance they established in the first quarter. And the result was their first win of the 2019-20 season as they roared past the Little Rock Christian Lady Warriors freshmen, 31-8, to wrap up the annual Bryant Classic. Continued

Last season, the Bryant Lady Hornets had any number of players that could hit an opponent with a double-digit scoring night. And most of them are back for 2019-20.
And several of them showed what they’re capable of in small doses Thursday night in a pre-season benefit game against the E-STEM Lady Mets at the old Hornets’ Nest. But it was senior point guard Tierra Trotter who had a big night with 17 points. Continue
